About the program
Founded in 2025, this is the first graduate medical education program at Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley, an unopposed residency based at a 160-bed community hospital staffed by Stanford faculty and community physicians. Residents complete most inpatient rotations, including medicine, L&D, and surgery, at the hospital. Continuity care takes place at a new Stanford-affiliated clinic at Hacienda Lakes with procedure space, OMT, and point-of-care ultrasound, and at an Axis Community Health FQHC that also offers behavioral health services. Research opportunities link to Stanford School of Medicine networks.
