interview travel..plz guide

I have an interview at Howard hospital and washington university on two consecutive days. I want to know that what is the cheapest mode of travel from Houston to Washington DC. Also guide about accomodation near both of these Hospitals.

cheapest mode of transportation will be my bus and may be by car. faster being by plane.

regarding finding cheapest plane deals, you may use site59.com or expedia.com or hotels.com. also, you can call the hospital where you are interviewing to ask their references. some hospitals have deals with nearby hotels, so you might get a break from there as well.
